SICK AGAIN

I took Drew to the Dr. today because he had a cold sunday, but today it had turned into a terrible cough, yucky stuff draining from his eyes, and a runny nose. Thankfully no fever. Lo and Behold he has bronchitis. We just cannot get him well. He will be 9 months old Friday and he weighs 25 pounds and is 31 1/2 inches long. He is a very big boy. I hope we feel better soon!

Tubes!

Well Monday night Chris, his mom, and myself got 3 hours of sleep. Drew had the WORST ear infection he has had since Thanksgiving. This made #7 for ear infections. Tuesday we left the house at 4:30 AM for the hospital in B'ham. Drew got tubes and the Dr. said it was one of the worst double ear infections he has seen in a while. We hope he will feel better. Drew was a PERFECT little angel the entire day. We saw a shooting star on our way to the hospital. I think it was good luck!

Ear Infections AAGGHHH!!!!

After 6 ear infections since Novemeber 15th, 2 eardrum ruptures, bronchitis, and 7 different antibiotics we are scheduled for tubes Tuesday Feb. 3rd. Chris and I are both anxious and excited. We hope this will make him feel so much better. I have been told it is a piece of cake surgery and we will be home in no time! Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
We also made our first official trip to the ER Wednesday night. Drew had an allergic reaction to something (we think maybe yogurt) and broke out in red splotches on his face, head, and neck. He coughed some then we took him to the hospital. He was fine after we gave him antihistamine. It was pretty scary.
My grandparents 66th anniversary would have been Jan. 22nd. My grandfather had a pretty bad day, but he seems to be getting better. His birthday is Feb. 3rd. We are going to take him out to dinner. Hopefully that will be a good day for him.
